I was asked to taste the new flavors of Yoplait light. I received the new pineapple upside down cake, strawberry shortcake, and cheesecake flavors from the PR firm representing Yoplait.

My opinion is that if you like sweet yogurt – you’ll love these flavors. I liked all the flavors, but if I had to choose, my favorite was the pineapple upside down cake. There were bits of real pineapple in it and it tasted close to the real thing.
Let’s face it, if you are watching your weight, you can’t eat cake every time you want it — and even if you could, yogurt provides more nutrients and less calories than the dessert.
If you normally skip breakfast, you could be setting yourself up for poor food choices later in the day – or worse, irritability and fatigue. An easy way to get breakfast is to mix one of these yogurts with some cereal, preferrably one low in sugar and higher in fiber. You can mix the cereal and yogurt in a used portable container and eat it on the way to work if you are really short on time.
Some people skimp their lunch eating a side salad or soup only to be ravishingly hungry by 2PM. You can add a yogurt to a sandwich lunch to tide you over to the next meal.
Also, if you workout longer than 60 minutes after work and before dinner, consider having one of these post-workout. It has carbs and protein, which allows your muscles to recover quickly.
It doesn’t hurt that Yoplait donates money to breast cancer too.
