Going green has never been cuter! Aren’t these jammies from New Jammies adorable? Ok, ok first disclosures. I was contacted by a PR firm to blog about the PJ’s I didn’t receive anything for doing so… just the photo you see here. So on the down side, I can’t really discuss the quality. I am requesting a pair for my twin nephews and then I will report back on the parents’ opinions. But first, let me highlight some of the pros I see in them so far…
1. Did I say these were cute? Who wouldn’t have fun in these PJs? I like the bright colors. My friend who recently had a baby said that infants and toddlers respond best to primary colors and bright colors so these fit the bill. They are unique-looking compared to a lot of what you see available for kids PJs. It is so hard to find something different for a friend’s baby shower, but these are definitely worth a look.
2. Healthy eating reinforcement. Kids like to have fun and these jammies are fun and they use fruits and vegetables to accomplish it. I would not go so far as to say that if you dress your kids in jammies they will eat more fruit or whatever. But there are opportunities for parents to help their kids gravitate toward fresh fruits and veggies. My twin nephews love apples. They take to apples like a woodpecker to a tree. I can imagine their parents could (and would) easily strike up a conversation about fruit or veggies, the colors, where they grow, etc. with their kids to reinforce healthy eating behaviors and food preferences. That’s a win in my book
3. Organic cotton. The PJs not only look good, but they are made with high-quality organic cotton.
Has anyone else out there seen these? Thoughts? I’ll hopefully be back to update on the durability of the PJs after the 3-year-olds have gotten a hold of them.
